Kathryn Delans

Missoula, Montana

Kathryn Delans earned her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2018, after a 2010 bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, where she was an intern at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Investigations and was on the Dean’s List.

Before joining at Terrazas Henkel, P.C., Ms. Delans worked as a personal injury attorney with Paul Ryan & Associates in Missoula, working on cases and researching legal issues regarding automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Delans worked with the Critical Care Unit as a child protective investigator for Lee County in Florida, where she investigated extreme cases of domestic violence, drug abuse/manufacturing, homicides, and severe child abuse. She moved to Livingston, Montana in 2014 to work as a behavior specialist with the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Club.

In Missoula, Ms. Delans volunteers for Soft Landing, an organization assisting and raising awareness for refugees, and has given her time and expertise to the clients at the Missoula Self-Help Law Center. Ms. Delans spends her free time fishing the rivers and exploring the west with her border collie, Chewie. Chewie is at his happiest when he is running around outside, so he is now helping Ms. Delans train for the Missoula Half Marathon.
